Join the WASM Mines Rescue Club!

Interested in mining? Safety? Teamwork? The WASM Mines Rescue Club is for you. Our club provides students with hands-on training in emergency response, opportunities to learn from industry experts, and the chance to represent WASM to participate in both Surface and Underground Mines Rescue Competitions. Whether you’re new to mining or aiming to build a career in the industry, this is your opportunity to gain real-world skills while being part of a supportive team.

Ordinary Membership (WASM Students)

As a member, you’ll be invited to all our training sessions, events, and competitions. You’ll also have your say in how the club is run by voting at General Meetings and nominating for vacant committee positions.

Associate Membership (Non-Curtin Students)

Join as an associate member. This option is open to anyone not currently enrolled at Curtin — students from other universities, Curtin College, staff, or anyone interested in mines rescue. Associate members enjoy all club activities but cannot vote or hold committee positions.
